Pardoning Power

TannerforGovernor.com

Our Constitution and the founding fathers gave the Executive Branch and the Governor the power to Pardon. This is the tool that I will use to push back on our rouge Judiciary that is legislating from the bench. Currently the Legislature passes a law, the Governor signs it and then one judge places an injunction on what “We the People” have passed. I will instruct the entity involved to go to court, plead guilty to whatever the charge is, and I will grant them a pardon. Judges and the Judicial Branch only interpret laws and issue opinions, that’s their role. The Executive Branch is tasked with enforcing laws. As your Governor I will enforce the will of the voters and legislators and NOT the will of a radical, liberal judiciary.
